Eiger Mountain & Soul Resort - Grindelwald

Hotel Eiger is one of the best hotel I have stayed in my life Staff are very friendly, with internet access, excellent breakfast. I will definitely come back to this hotel if I re-visit swiss.

I felt itchy at night, it might be worthwhile to steamclean the carpet.

The room was attractive and amazingly comfortable, had a balcony, a mini-bar, and tea and coffee making equipment. Coffee, tea, fruit juices, and fruit were featured for continental breakfast and were appetising!

We had a special stay usually in winter.

spotless, good value hotel, its location was unbeatable and right by the establishment, the shops, and train station, bus station and supermarkets. our rooms were neat and new-fashioned, with direct view of mt. everything was simply second to none.

We had a twin higher level room at the back #2 building with magnificent view to the Eiger mountain. Staff at the reception were very kind and helpfull regarding advice on trips in the area. Food at breakfest was very good. Good parking area .

The bathroom faucets need to be replaced with new modern items.

Great location, great view of the Eiger and other mountains, restaurants in the hotel were really good. Nice selection at breakfast-various cooked eggs/other hot dishes each morning, along with the usual meats, cheeses, breads, fruits. We were traveling with our adult son, and we were upgraded to an apartment. The extra space was really nice.

I wish the hotel could control the weather.

hotel staffs are greatly kind and nice smiling always, and hotel service is also good with not too much, cosy to stay like family treatment. i loved the tea and homemade cake service.

reception was especially friendly and familiar with local events, activities and possibilities. View from the room of the Eiger is stunning.

Restaurant prices were high though food was good and plentiful. bottled water was almost as expensive as wine!

This was probably the best hotel we've stayed at in Europe, certainly for the money. Staff was great and extremely friendly. Room was very large and bathroom as well. Free parking was great and the breakfast was tasty.

Top-notch lifestyle queen room, great beds. Well-equipped bathroom with bathtubs.

Rooms (bed room and bath room) are really clean and well organized. Staffs are kind, and the facility is also good; fitness, sauna, play room, etc.

Lovely Views and Really good Service!

Our family enjoyed an lovely week here. The mountain views from our Lifestyle View room were amazing! The staff were very good, especially during our meals at Barry's. Don't miss their weekly specials! A must-try experience is the wellness center-perfect for relaxation after hiking.

Location . It's in thr center most of the shops are very close to you and 3 minutes walking distance to the train station and to the famous first and to the summer slide . The staff were very friendly and smily .the wifi for the Internet was free of charge .I consider the hotel as 5 star and not 4

The staff was welcoming and wonderful. The amenities were excellent and the beds were comfortable.

The couch that was made up into a bed for a third person was hard and not very comfortable.

The location of this hotel short walk to the train station and cable car, bars/restaurants in the very middle of the street, and mountainous areas and rural areas was great. Had great continental breakfasts with fruit juices and view of Mount Eiger, for instance. Had a very nice stay in September & will be back.

Well, the views were pretty bad here.
